The information we collect directly benefits users using our website because we operate a Member Directory and use the data to ensure we provide more relevant and useful information to visitors.

The Member Directory section provides information on companies which have applied to receive information or become Centre for Energy Equality Members. To provide the service, we hold information about organisations, and the individuals representing those bodies.

Information is collected for the following purposes:

-Our own internal website and system administration
-Research and development
-Tailoring content according to user requirements and preferences
-Determine habits and interests of individuals for general statistical analysis
-Troubleshooting site and service access issues

How long do we store information for?

Normally, as long as the information can be of use to us and other Member Organisations, unless you specifically contact us otherwise.

We retain information for as long as is required for the data’s intended purpose, and normally, due to data archiving and disaster recovery policies, for at least seven years as required to perform full data recovery in the event of a full disaster.

The servers housing this web site automatically collect logs that may record statistical information such as visitors’ IP addresses, type of operating systems, time of visit, web pages requested etc, and identify categories of visitors by items such as domains and browser types.
